Dans won the silver award in Epica Awards 2012

In December 2012, the work of Dans Digital, Gemdale Lake City-Art won the silver award in category of TVC- Animation at Epica Awards 2012.
Epica Awards were created in 1987 and celebrated their 25th anniversary last year, which is one of the most famous advertising award such as Cannes lions Awards, London International Advertising Award, New York Festival, Clio Awards and Mobius Awards in the word. The six high level advertising award has its own characters, Cannes Lions Awards originated from Cannes International Film Festival, which put the creativity on the first place. London International Advertising Award focus on both creativity, design and production. New York Festival set an United Nations Special awards in praising public service ads. Clio Awards purse the Originality instead of practice. Mobius Awards is famous for its independent selection standards. Epica Awards focus on the global advanced creativity, Having originally focused on Europe only, the awards will become worldwide in 2012.
Epica’s aim is to reward outstanding creativity and help communication agencies, film production companies, media consultancies, photographers and design studios to develop their reputations beyond their national borders. Epica set 17 categories and 48 unions, including Radio, TVC, Design and so on. Epica went global in 2012 and received 3,900 entries from 649 companies in 62 countries, which were submitted from global advertising company, such as Oglivy, DDB, BBDO, WANDA, and CAA. A large number of famous advertising contend against, such as The Bus (MIDTTRAFIK), Cartier Odyssey (Cartier), Ali (Louis Vuitton), The Invisible Drive(Mercedes Benz), Large Coffee (McDonald's), Enchanted Forest(FedEx Express)、Hedgehogsh（Volkswagen）, Zombiu Game Trailer (Ubisoft), Coke hands(Coca Cola).
The silver award in Epica for Dans may be described as won the first battle in global advertising award, for that Dans Digital has submitted works to the six famous global advertising award this year. The Gemdale Lake City-Art from Dans is the unique Chinese work in winning the category TVC-Animation in Epica Awards 2012.
